Need of
Continuing Education
The study of Dental Science is never complete in one's lifetime.
Everyday, a new scenario of dental health treatment and technique
appears on the canvas of time. This explosion of knowledge opens
up new frontiers. A dental surgeon should therefore understand
that there is a constant need to update his/her knowledge of ever
emerging new techniques in delivery of sound dental health care
system. As a result rigorous competition amongst dental surgeons
ensues. In order to remain updated and maintain rhythm of progress
the dental fraternity should always be in touch with global picture.
Thus a healthy competition results in more information and spread
of knowledge, benefit of which ultimately passes on to the end
users-patients
To keep pace with these fast developments we have proposed a dental
education centre under the banner of AMPRO Institute and Research
Foundation with the larger interest of the Dental profession.
This Institute is a private organization and developed under the
dynamic leadership of Mr. Vishal Anand. It is intended to cater
the professional need based continuing education programmes, hands-on
courses, seminar and various dental laboratory training programmes.
Infrastructure
AMPRO Institute is equipped with need based infrastructure that
shall be a nucleus of continuing dental education for the benefit
of dental practitioners and other para-dental fraternities. The
institute is in Clinic is a basic need of any dental institute.
This institute is associated with AMPRO Dental Centre, having
three Dental chair operatories. The centre has comprehensive hi-tech
infrastructure to render multi-disciplinary services by a team
of super specialists,
Dental Laboratory
Dental laboratory is a backbone of practicing dentists for rendering
a good prosthesis to the patient. The institute is, associated
with many top laboratories & it has a in house lab,which is
located on the first and second floor of the Dental House. They
have excellent set ups with skilled technical staff for rendering
ceramic, metal free ceramic, metal and acrylic prosthesis works.
They are rendering dental professional service to the dental surgeons
of the Gujarat State since more than three decades.
Various in-house Dental Laboratory and clinical training programmes
that would be available are:

The Auditorium
The Institute has an air conditioned auditorium with well equipped
audio-visual aids and computer facilities etc.
- Live demonstration facilities from the clinic to Auditorium.
- Enough space for table demonstration.
- Capacity to accommodate 50 participants
Dental Library
The institute has dental library with books. video. CDs. Journals
etc. specially on prosthodontics Candidates may take advantage
of the library.
Other Activities
Dental Research programmes will be carried out by the Institute.
Infrastructure facilities will be available to the research fellow
of the dental faculty.
Public Dental Health and Awareness
Programmes will be planned and organized on regular basis for
the larger interest of public.
