Orthopentagraphy System (Blue X)
Pantos 16 of Blue X imaging is carefully
Designed to perform a set of examinations including panoramic
for adults or children, left, right or frontal partial views,
thus with minimum radiation, and specialized, frontal sinuses
and temporo-mandibular joints, mouth open and closed on same
film. Program segmentation gives the flexibility to select the
appropriate panoramic view.
" Minimum Radiation Dose - The use of intensifying
screens (phosphor plate) reduces to a minimum the Radiation to
patients and makes panoramic the recommended procedure for an
overall investigation in most cases.
" Standard Panoramic Projection - Allows a complete
diagnosis far beyond the dentoalveolar region. Specific
occlusal or periapical examinations can be carried out for a
detailed analysis.
" Child Protection - Reduced exposure time and radiation
dose.
" Half Panoramic Left - Ideal after treatment for
documentation purposes.
" Temporo Mandibular Joints (TM J) - Mouth open and
closed on same film.
" Frontal Maxillary Sinuses - Widely used for pre
implant assessment.
" Make it Quick - Positioning the patient can be done
using a bite block or a chin rest. Few simple manoeuvres are
required. Once the height of the carriage is adjusted manually
to bring the Frankfurt plane horizontally, correct rottion of
the head is checked with the mirror.
Front teeth alignment (in focus layer) is done by moving
manually the carriage backward or forward till correct
position is determined with the aid of the lateral light beam
(the unit is adjusted without the need to move the patient
(The unit is adjusted without the need to move the patient)
Different positioning is used for TMJ and frontal Sinuses
projections.
" Celophalometetric Procedures - A cephalometric version
is available with lateral arm to take side ( LL, Latero
Lateral) or frontal (AP, Antero Posterior) radiographs of the
skull, for orthodontic procedures.
A soft tissue filter is available with LL procedures.
Adaptation of the system to telerediography is done by
rotating the tube-head in favour of the cephalostat, mounting
the proper beam collimating window, then resetting the unit,
action that moves the rotating carriage out of the radiation
beam.
" Improved Diagnosis - Panoramic imaging in dental X-ray
is nowadays considered a routine procedure that gives the
dentist the possibility to perform a complete examination of
the dental arch.
" Best Imaging Technology - The state of the art power
supply, based on high frequency converter technology, produces
hard radiation at constant potential with DC output, both
essential for proper modulation of the X-ray beam and minimum
level of soft radiation to the patient.
" Make It Easy - A simple control panel on the outside
of the rotating carriage allows the operator to select the
desired procedure and set the technical parameters, kV level
and mA depending on patient size or mAs fro cephalometry.
